Jakarta - Stakeholders at Soekarno-Hatta Airport strengthened synergies during the flight restriction period through the formation of the Task Force for Handling the Acceleration of Soekarno-Hatta Acceleration COVID-19.
The Chairman of the 19th Handling Acceleration Task Force COVID Lieutenant General Doni Monardo appointed PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin to run the Soekarno-Hatta COVID Handling Task Force.
Then, in the structure, Muhammad Awaluddin was in the position of Chairman and appointed the Soekarno-Hatta Airport Executive General Manager Agus Haryadi as the Chief Executive of the Soekarno-Hatta COVID-19 Task Force.
This is in accordance with Minister of Transportation Instruction No. 09/2016 which states that there must be one accountable (sole accountability) in airport operations. The only one responsible for this is the Executive General Manager of Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
"Soekarno-Hatta has a very vital role in the midst of this pandemic, one of which is to accelerate the handling of COVID-19. Therefore, the Soekarno-Hatta operation is currently supported or supported by Soekarno-Hatta COVID-19 Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling," said President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II Muhammad Awaluddin.
The Soekarno-Hatta COVID-19 Handling Acceleration Task Force itself consists of various elements, namely Region I Airport Authority, PT Angkasa Pura II, Port Health Office - Ministry of Health, Customs and Excise, Immigration, Quarantine, and TNI / Polri.
This task force also coordinates with the Air Task Force of the National COVID-19 Acceleration Handling Task Force, and has the duty to ensure the operation of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport always refers to:
1. Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 18/2020 concerning Transportation Control to Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
2. Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 25/2020 concerning Transportation Control During Eid Al-Fitr Mudik Year 1441 H
3. Circular Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 No. 04/2020 on Criteria for Limiting People's Journey to Accelerate Handling of COVID-19
4. Director General of Civil Aviation Circular Letter of the Ministry of Transportation No. 32/2020 concerning Air Transport Operational Guidelines for Implementing Travel Restrictions in the Context of COVID-19 Handling Acceleration
5. Circular of the Minister of Health Number HK.02.01 / MENKES / 313/2020 concerning Health Protocols for the Handling of Indonesian Citizens and the Arrival of Foreigners at State and Territory Entrances in Situations of Large-Scale Social Restrictions
After this, the task force then establishes various procedures, one of which is handling the departure and arrival of airplane passengers.
"The focus now is to implement the provisions of SE 04/2020 related to the departure of domestic passengers and SE of the Minister of Health 313/2020 on the arrival of international passengers," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
Every day there are currently 239 personnel assigned to the Soekarno-Hatta COVID-19 Acceleration Handling Task Force that specifically oversees the procedure for the departure of domestic route passengers and the arrival of international passengers. Personnel consist of Aviation Security Assistance and Medical Services from PT Angkasa Pura II, KKP - Ministry of Health, and TNI / Polri.
"The number of personnel at the point of departure and arrival has now increased to 239 personnel per day. With the addition of personnel, the procedure is carried out more stringently. We ensure all personnel try to carry out their duties properly. If there is a shortage, then the evaluation will be carried out together."
"The personnel in charge also identified prospective passengers who were carrying invalid documents until the rapid test / PCR certificate ended. To date there are more than 100 potential passengers who have been denied departure because they did not fulfill the required documents," said Muhammad Awaluddin.
As for making document and health checks more focused, now the departure process for domestic routes in Terminal 2 is divided into 4 checkpoints.
Prospective passengers must also personally undergo each process at the checkpoint, or cannot be represented.
"Procedures at each checkpoint are carried out by prioritizing face-to-face transparency between aircraft personnel and prospective passengers to ensure compliance with flight safety and safety aspects," Muhammad Awaluddin explained.
Meanwhile, regarding security while at the airport, the number of personnel on duty every day consists of Avsec and Non-Avsec PT Angkasa Pura II (362 personnel), BKO TNI (42 personnel), and the Soekarno-Hatta Police (600 personnel).
