PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) took a strategic step in developing human resources for the airport industry by establishing an Airport Learning Center (ALC) which coincided with the ground breaking of the construction of the ALC building located at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.
The company initiated ALC quickly to anticipate the era of disruption and at least three things to support the company's growth in the future, namely Business Model Variability, Infrastructure / Operation Complexity and Dynamic Competencies.
With the jargon of "Building Great Leader & Great People", the company set up ALC to create a system that can give birth to money leaders who have leadership and superior human resources in the airport industry.
ALC has a development program which is divided into two (2) major programs, namely:
1). The Great People Development Program (GPDP) that has specific programs includes:
a. Global Development Program (GDP) with international institutions such as ACI, IATA, ICAO;
b. Management Development Program (MDP).
2). The Great Leader Development Program (GLDP) that has specific programs includes:
a. Airport Leadership Development Program such as Airport Executive Leadership Program (AELP), Airport Management Leadership Program (AMLP) and Airport Officer Leadership Program (AOLP);
b. Talent Development Program.
PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said, "Great People development will be crucial for AP II in tapping into the company's long-term plan in 2019, the Global Partnership. Therefore it is clear that we need and want to make the ALC a corporate Center of Excellence with the function of the Center of Chiefship, Center of Competence and Center of Certification to develop AP II HR comprehensively. "
The establishment of the ALC was also marked by the start of the construction of the ALC building to support all HR development activities with an investment value of Rp. 80 billion, which is planned to be completed by the beginning of March 2019.
The concrete steps of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) in terms of human resource development began with a collaboration program with Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) in the form of Official Domestic Masters Education (PDNK) to take part in an executive class of Master of Management (MM) program attended by 36 people employee.
This collaboration with UNPAD is realized in order to realize the company's vision to be "The Best Smart Connected Airport Operator in the Region" to prepare human resources that are able to compete globally as well as efforts to improve the quality of human resources as well as the regeneration process in management.
In the future this cooperation program will run in a sustainable manner in accordance with the needs of the organization in the future by collaborating with other institutions and institutions of higher education.
