TANGERANG, KOMPAS.com - Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) Airport has upgraded a variety of facilities without touch or touchless to support operations when a new normality has been established.
PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said, the facility without the God of God was presented to facilitate the activities of personnel working at the airport, as well as airport visitors and airplane passengers.
"A number of touchless facilities in Soekarno-Hatta can already be used, where these facilities will also be used at other airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura II," Awaluddin said in a written statement received by Kompas.com, Tuesday (06/09/2020) .

Awaluddin said there were seven state-of-the-art, touchless facilities now available at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
First is the body inspection machine or body scanner that has been operated in the security check point 2 (SCP 2) area to check passengers without having to touch them.
Second is a travel document inspection system facility as a travel requirement through a digital travel application.
The application makes checking trip documents can be done without having to touch between employees and passengers because the files are digitally checked by uploading files to the application.
The third facility, namely the original virtual customer called VICA. Through the virtual assistant, passengers can more easily recognize various information about services at Soetta Airport.
The fourth facility is the adjustment of the elevator button, which can now be accessed by footing
The fifth facility, the UV sterilizer that has been installed in the escalator and travelator inside the Terminal 3 Building of Soekarno-Hatta Airport.
The function of the tool is to eliminate viruses, bacteria and germs on the escalator handrail and work automatically.
The sixth facility is an automatic sink in each Soetta Airport faucet to minimize touch when using water taps.
The seventh sophisticated facility is a smart helmet that is used by airport security or aviation security officers to detect the body temperature of passengers without having to make contact.
This helmet can provide information about people's body temperature, facial recognition mode, vehicle plate recognition, night vision / facility inspection, QR code scanner and identify hot spots.
Awaluddin said, after the seven touchless facilities, there will be more facilities that minimize physical contact both directly and indirectly to welcome new normal.
"Following later there will be more touchless facilities. This is as our effort to promote the prevention of the spread of COVID-19 at the airport during the new normal period," he said.
