International flights are still in progress because it is not regulated in Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 25 of 2020 concerning Transportation Control During the Eid Al-Fitr Homeland of 1441 Hijri in the Context of Preventing the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19).

PT Angkasa Pura II Corporate Communications VP Yado Yarismano said the company had coordinated with the Ministry of Transportation regarding permits for international flights to operate.

"We have coordinated with the civil aviation regulator in this case the Ministry of Transportation, and indeed Permenhub No. is stated. 25/2020 only regulates the ban on domestic flights, so that international flights can still be operated, "Yado said through his official statement, Friday (24/4).

He further explained, the airport of PT Angkasa Pura II which currently still serves scheduled international flights is Soekarno-Hatta (Tangerang) with an average flight this month of around 40 flights / day. International flights are also still served in Kualanamu (Deli Serdang) with an average flight of only 1-2 flights / day this month.

Correspondingly, Director General of Air Aviation of the Ministry of Transportation Novie Riyanto asserted that international flights from and to Indonesia continued to run normally with reference to the co-19 health protocol.

With this provision, people who want to go in and out of Indonesia can still be served by international flights with AP II's airport operators such as Soekarno-Hatta and Kualanamu.

Previously referred to Permenhub No. 25/2020 concerning Transportation Control during the Eid Al-Fitr Homecoming Year 1441 Hijri in the Context of Preventing the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19), there are no provisions regarding international flights.
