In Business Survival AP II Prioritize Worker Protection through Tracing and Tracking Management System, Plus Real Time Dashboard

11 Apr 2020 Rakyat Merdeka - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) or AP II carries out various protocols to ensure the health of personnel in the midst of the global Covid-19 pandemic.

At present, the company has established a risk mitigation strategy in dealing with Covid-19, namely Business Continuity Management, which consists of 3 phases: Business Survival, Business Recovery and Business Sustainability.

AP II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said, currently, the company is undergoing Business Survival which has a Workforce Protection program from Covid-19.

"One of the priorities of AP II at the moment is Workforce Protection, so that we are able to go through the Business Survival phase so that we survive in facing the challenges of Covid-19. After surviving, AP II will go to Business Recovery and then enter the Business Sustainability stage, "said Muhammad Awaluddin.

The Workforce Protection Program also aims to provide comfortable and healthy airport operations. And protect the health of all workers, travelers and airport visitors.

Airport operations are closely related to the presence of operational personnel, who descend directly ensure the operation of the airport.

In general, there are two categories of operational personnel under the airport operator. First, mandatory personnel (mandatory operations) to support security and safety aspects.

Second, personnel in charge of maintaining service aspects and supporting airport operations (non-mandatory operations).

The personnel included in the mandatory operations category are Aviation Security (Avsec), then Aviation and Fire Accident Relief (PKP-PK) and Apron Movement Control (AMC).

The operator cannot operate the airport, if there are not sufficient mandatory operating personnel.

Whereas personnel in charge of maintaining service aspects include Customer Service; Terminal Inspection Service (TIS); Electrical, Mechanical & Engineering and so on.

The number of operational personnel at 19 airports reaches around 3,500 people. Or, around 60 percent of the total AP II organic employees are 5,900 people.

Awaluddin said a number of protocols had been implemented in the framework of the Workforce Protection program. "We try to keep making the airport a comfortable, safe and healthy place. And protect the health of workers, travelers and airport visitors. Therefore, AP II has run various protocols in the midst of the spread of Covid-19, "he explained.

The company's preventive protocols consist of adjustments to airport patterns and hours. Thus, operational personnel can apply the concept of work from home (work from home / WFH).

In addition, the company also has Covid-19's vigilance and control protocol, namely information technology-based Tracing & Tracking Management System. This is one of the features in the AP II internal application, namely iPerform.

"Tracing & Tracking Management System as a form of anticipation, vigilance and control of the company in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. So that airports can continue to operate serving national air transportation access, "explained Awaluddin.

Tracing Management System is carried out to identify and track personnel, who have symptoms of Covid-19 infection, and conduct a rapid test as an early detection. After that, continued handling.

This rapid test is continuously carried out at the company's airports, and until now it has been done in Soekarno-Hatta (Tangerang), Halim Perdanakusuma (Jakarta) and Husein Sastranegara (Bandung).

Whereas the Tracking Management System is carried out to monitor if there are employees or families of employees who are undergoing independent isolation / quarantine, or treatment by the hospital through a self-reporting mechanism by employees.

The Tracking Management System applies the concept of self-reporting or self-report which is done periodically by employee personnel. If there are personnel with ODP or PDP status, the person concerned will report via the iPerform application regarding health conditions every day.

"The results of the Tracing and Tracking System Management process are always updated in real time on the Covid-19 Dashboard, which we specifically use to monitor the current status or condition of AP II employees when the pandemic is still happening," Awaluddin said.

"The Tracing and Tracking Management System and the Covid-19 Dashboard have greatly helped AP II to present healthy, comfortable and safe airport operations today and beyond," he added.
