Tangerang, September 2018 - Angkasa Pura II officially closes the post of alert for the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Asian Games on 10 September 2018. Asian Games Standby Post Soekarno-Hatta Airport has been running for a full month from 7 August to 7 September 2018 with the total number of athletes and Officials who left Jakarta and Palembang accounted for approximately 18,000 contingents closed in a closing ceremony attended by all task forces of the Asian Games post and led by President Director of PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), Muhammad Awaluddin.

The end of the 2018 Asian Games event in Jakarta and Palembang does not mean that the Asian-level international event is finished. After successfully hosting Asian games in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia will host the 3rd Asian Para Games in 2018 which will be held in Jakarta on 6 - 13 October 2018.

In carrying out the smooth running of the 2018 Asian Para Games, just like the 2018 Asian Games, Angkasa Pura II still carries the ACTIF concept: Airport capacity; Communication; Traffic routes; Infrastructure and Facility (technology) to maximize the role of the airport in supporting the sustainability of the 2018 Indonesia Asian Para Games which will involve 41 participating countries, 2,888 athletes and 1,826 officials.

The preparations made to welcome the 2018 Asian Para Games are almost the same as during the Asian Games event, namely by maximizing a number of sides such as the management of contingent aircraft parking slots; Preparation of Arrival & Departure management and flow management for athletes for games; Placement of the drop-off area, elevator facilities and toilet to be disabled; Addition of conveyors and Self Check-In Counter facilities; Musholla and fast line are prepared to welcome athletes; Wheelchair flow; Hospitality preparation for athletes; until Placement a number of volunteers at some point to help regulate the flow of passengers.

Muhammad Awaluddin stated, "The coordination and cooperation that has been shown during the 18th Asian Games event, I am sure to support the service we provide in welcoming the 3rd Asian Para Games which will take place in Jakarta this October."

Angkasa Pura II is ready to succeed the Asian Para Games 2018 smoothly and raise the name of Indonesia in the international arena, as the main gate of entry and return of athletes participating in Asian Para Games, maximum service will continue to be a priority.
