Jakarta - Capsule hotel with the Digital Airport Hotel brand at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport won a prestigious award from Booking.com, the 2018 Guest Review Award.
This Digital Airport Hotel only opened in August 2018 and it didn't take long to win the international award.
The Guest Review Award itself is an annual Booking.com award given to property service providers for exceptional hospitality, evidenced by the many positive reviews from guests after their stay.
James Waters, VP of Booking.com's Partner and Customer Services, congratulates the award won by Digital Airport Hotel for achieving the highest score of 8.5 in terms of customer reviews.
"Positive reviews like thank-you cards that the whole world can see. "In 2018, you impressed the guests so they always say thank you and now the review of your property is one of the highest on Booking.com," he said in a letter to Digital Airport Hotel.
He added that these results were the fruit of the dedication, passion and hard work of each personnel involved.
Booking.com is one of the world's largest travel e-commerce sites, established in 1996 in Amsterdam and currently employs more than 17,000 employees in 198 offices in 70 countries.
PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said the award from Booking.com was a worldwide recognition of the facilities at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport.

Muhammad Awaluddin also said that the presence of capsule hotels is one of AP II's strategies in following the growing travel trends in the world.
"Passenger aircraft at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport are dominated by millennial generation, which is around 60% of the total passengers, so we also provide facilities and services according to their needs."
"The capsule hotel is our effort to bring Millennial Air Travel Experience at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, as well as via Wi Shock, namely high-speed WiFi, AirSport Arena which provides a place to play online games, theaters, co-working space, and other facilities," explained Muhammad Awaluddin.
Aside from awards from Booking.com, Digital Airport Hotel which is managed by PT Capsule Indonesia in the near future will also be awarded by Traveloka.
PT Capsule Indonesia Director Rudy Josano revealed that Digital Airport Hotel received a score of 8.6 from Traveloka.
Digital Airport Hotel is located in the Domestic Terminal 3 mezzanine, has a total of 120 capsules each equipped with cable TV, premium pillows and pillows, blankets, 2 USB charging ports, ambience light, futuristic mirror, reading light, headphones and more.
Guests also get a private locker and sharing shower with hot and cold water.
