Halifax, Canada - Husein Sastranegara International Airport managed to get 3rd place out of a total of 60 airports for the Best Airport by Size category in the Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey conducted by Airport Council International (ACI) in 2017 from 317 airports participating in the ACI ASQ Survey.
In the awarding ceremony, PT Angkasa Pura II was represented by the Director of Airport Service and Facility, Ituk Herarindri to receive the award in Canada on 12 September 2018 by ACI World Director General Angela Glittens in the series of "ASQ Customer Excellence Global Summit" events that were followed by 127 airport authorities and managers all over the world.
The aspects included in the assessment criteria are airport facilities, airport environment, land transportation from / to the airport, check-in services, transit services, immigration services, security, flight information services and directions. The ASQ survey results came from a total of 614,325 passengers who had completed the ASQ Survey, of which 1,649 surveys were conducted at the Husein Sastranegara International Airport.
The Director of Airport Service and Facility said, "This achievement is a form of appreciation for the performance of fellow colleagues at Husein Sastranegara International Airport to always provide excellent service for passengers".
The Airport Service Quality Awards are the highest award for airports with the best level of service in the world conducted by ACI, a global airport organization that has its headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
