In order to realize the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport as a World Class Airport, PT AngkasaPura II (Persero) through the Grand Design will develop Commercial Park Area property development.
The Soekarno-Hatta Airport Land Use Plan is similar to a city's comprehensive plan, and provides a framework and development strategy for the commercial use of Airport property. A conceptual land use plan is provided for adjacent Airport property in the cities Jakarta and Tangerang. Commercial property can continue to serve its primary purpose as a buffer between land for direct aviation use and surrounding communities, while being leased for concurrent commercial uses that are compatible with aviation activity.
Commercial Park Area Land Use Plan is based on an estimate of the market demand for office, retail and industrial space. Implementation of the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Land Use Plan helps Soekarno-Hatta International Airport continue to be a magnet of growth in the Jakarta area, supplying private development with the benefits of available land, worldwide transport, shipping and travel opportunities to diverse markets, and connection between suppliers and users.
