Company Good Governance

Angkasa Pura II realizes that Good Corporate Governance is a referral standard which is obliged to be implemented by State-Owned Enterprise as the company business operation foundation as defined in Minister of State- Owned Enterprise decree No: KEP-117/M-MBU/2002 about the implementation of GCG practice in State Owned Corporation.

In a long term, the implementation of GCG has a relevance with a company`s performance because the ultimate value of GCG implementation is improving high performance and good corporate image.

GCG actualization at Angkasa Pura II is implemented at all levels and corporate structure with regard to the terms and condition related to the GCG implementation at the Company. Optimization of GCG Implementation at Angkasa Pura II is continuously executed by infrastructure strengthening to reach the best practice, system and procedure adjustment required to support the more effective GCG implementation.

To gain the description on GCG implementation condition compared to the best practice which becomes benchmark and as well as to identify the areas for improvement to GCG Implementation Manual, Angkasa Pura II routinely every two years conduct Assessment on GCG Implementation.

In 2010, Angkasa Pura II has conducted assessment on GCG implementation fiscal year 2009 which was conducted by an independent consultant. The implementation of assessment using score card which is stated on Circle Letter of State Owned Enterprise state Ministry Number : S-168/MBU/2008 dated 27 June 2008 about GCG assessment program at State Owned Enterprise. The GCG Implementation assessment aspects include assessment on: (a) Shareholders` Right and Obligation/Share Holders Meeting (b) Good Corporate Governance Policy, (c) Good Corporate Governance Implementation, (d) Information disclosure, and (e) Commitment. The assessment results, Angkasa Pura II reaches score of 80,63 with category of "Good". The attainment increases compared with the result of the previous year GCG, whilst in the 2007 GCG assessment result Angkasa Pura II gained score of 77,70 with category of "Good". For the fiscal year 2010, Angkasa Pura II review the follow up to the GCG areas of Improvement and self assessment which is conducted in 2011.

The high commitment of Angkasa Pura II in implementing GCG has gained a glorifying result. In 2006 Angkasa Pura II successfully gained award as The Best I in GCG in State Owned Enterprise and CEO Award. In 2008 succeeded to gain "1st winner of Annual Report Award for the category of BUMN non-Finance Non-Listed and became "The Best and the most Reliable in Good Corporate Governance" in Corporate Perception Index 2007 Award. In 2009 became the 1st The Best Non-listed company in Business Review Award and in 2010 won appreciation on Annual Report Award (ARA) for Annual Report 2007 for category of BUMN Non-finance Non-Listed at the 3rd rank.
